Adult Education Quarterly is a refereed journal committed to the dissemination of research and theory in adult and continuing education.

Gender, Work and Organisation brings together a wide range of interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary research in this field into a new international forum for debate and analysis focused on advancing theory, research and analytically driven applications concerning gender relations at work, the organization of gender and the gendering of organizations, including other aspects of inequality of relevance to gender.

International Journal of Lifelong Education provides a forum for debate on the principles and practice of lifelong, adult, continuing, recurrent and initial education and learning, whether in formal, institutional or informal settings.

Journal of Education and Work is an international forum for academic research and policy analysis which focuses on the interplay of the education and economic systems.

Journal of Further and Higher Education is an international, peer-reviewed journal which publishes articles and book reviews representing the whole field of post-16 education and training.

Journal of Workplace Learning "will help researchers, practitioners and consultants to gain insights into workplace learning and development from considered approaches and the latest theories and international research findings."

Research in the Sociology of Work is an edited volume published annually by JAI Press.  Each volume is topically organized to offer in-depth analysis of an issue of current interest in the sociology of work.  Recent volumes address such issues as globalization, work and family, deviance in the workplace, marginal employment, employment restructuring, union revitalization, and worker training.

Studies in Continuing Education publishes material which will contribute to improving practice in the field of continuing education and of bringing theory and practice into closer association.

Work, Employment and Society is an official journal of the British Sociological Association. It analyzes all forms of work, their relation to wider social processes and structures, and to quality of life and includes the study of the labour process, industrial relations, changes in labour markets, and the gender and domestic divisions of labour.

Vocations and learning: Studies in Vocational and Professional Education is a new international peer-reviewed journal published by Springer that provides a forum for strongly conceptual and carefully prepared manuscripts that inform the broad field of vocational learning. The journal will pay attention to such topics as the initial learning and further development of the capacities and dispositions required for work and working life and their remaking and transformation of these capacities and the tools and technologies required for these activities. Accounts of the development of these capacities within individuals and collectives through experiences in schools, colleges, workplaces, universities and other settings will strongly feature in the contributions to the journal.

The journal will be published three times a year and will comprise between four and five articles of up to 8000 words in length from and reviews. Please direct submissions to:
